How the date is calculated
The calculation adds 266 days to the transfer date, then subtracts the embryo’s age. A day-3 transfer adds 263 days; a day-5 transfer adds 261 days; a day-6 transfer adds 260 days.
A due date is an estimate, not a prediction of the day of birth. Confirm embryo age with your clinic and follow the due date documented in your maternity care.
