What testing involves

PGT-A examines a small sample of cells from an embryo. It is a screening test and is different from testing for a particular inherited condition.

Discussing benefits and limits

Testing does not guarantee a healthy baby or improve outcomes for every patient. Ask about biopsy risks, uncertain or mosaic results, costs and whether testing could reduce the embryos available for transfer.
